This course is an introduction to the study of politics, power and political institutions. We will examine a) political ideology, parties and interest groups; b) campaigns, fundraising and elections; and c) media and public opinion.

This course is constructed as a primer on political action. We will examine a) public policy and the petition process; b) the recall petition processes; and c) running for office.
Workshop Non-Refundable Tuition: $150 for candidates, $300 for elected officials.
