The American Observer
Our pledge to you: Journalism by for and of the people.
The typical daily media, both print and broadcast, have recently called for the creation of an ethics commission with teeth in the wake of the local corruption imbroglio besetting El Paso. Politicians cannot police themselves, the thought alone is an exercise in mental folly, it is an impossibility. However, America already has an ethics commission with teeth.
Although recent history proves it nascent in El Paso, if not borderline comatose, Liberty and Freedom still live. However it is grave condition. That is why our city is in trouble; it is why America is in trouble.
The only ethics commission that matters is the public. Voters have the ultimate oversight in America. It is your right and duty to police politicians. American Observer informs voters so they can have the information needed to exercise that oversight. We inform you, and we encourage you to take part in El Paso and America, lest liberty perish.
